So you want to find out more about MDetail.com and who is behind it? You have come to the right place. Well I will start off by introducing myself, my name is Mike, I am currently 26, and I have been detailing cars since 2005. My day job is as an Air Traffic Controller, and detailing is just one of my hobbies. My other major hobby is photography (mostly automotive, surfing, and nature/landscape). I have two spoiled cars: 1991 Acura Integra and 2008 Honda Fit (both pictured below), they are probably the reason I don’t have any kids.

I first had interest in detailing back in 1997,when my dad would put me to work on my future car, a 1987 Honda Prelude with 300,000+ miles and original paint. Back then the only real knowledge I had was whatever was passed down from my father. A few years later in 2005 when I owned my automotive performance shop I really wanted to expand the services that we offered at the shop. I did some research on a couple of detailing forums, and I even attended a few classes held by Meguiars. Here I am almost 5 years later still hooked on detailing. I don’t think there has been a day in my life since then that I don’t look at a car, and think about how nice it would look if I could get my hands on it.
Please take a look around the site, even if you don’t have money to pay a detailer to improve the look of your vehicle doesn’t mean you can’t take care of your car yourself. The various forums I have marked on the side have many great people involved that will help you with almost any detailing question you may have. (We all have to start somewhere, and that’s where I did.) I have also listed a few of the online retail locations where I purchase my detailing products. All of them have great customer service, and they will all be more than willing to answer any questions you have about any product they carry. I would like to thank you for looking at my detailing site, until next time … keep it clean.
