Process

I have spent the last few years researching products, methods, tools, and online stores.  In this amount of time I have been able to retain much of that information to help me transform dull paint into something that shines.  I mostly use Meguiars products, but I do wonder on to other brands every now and then.  Some of my other favorite brands are Poorboys, Menzerna, 1z Einszett and Chemical Guys.  Many products out there can help you complete your detailing job, but 90% of the battle is knowing the correct process.  If you are looking to complete your own detail, you should take a look at some of the forums I have linked for you and read a little bit on the different processes involved in detailing.

Below I will show every different step that I offer and explain a little about why it is important, how it helps your vehicle, and how it is done.

Engine

Clean & degrease engine This process is done by hand, and no water hoses or power sprayers are involved.  We start by warming up the engine shortly.  Spray water from a spray bottle around the engine.  Spray degreaser around engine compartment and let set.  Agitate the degreaser with various brushes.  Rise engine bay with a spray bottle.  Inspect for dirty areas, if needed start from beginning again.

Clean underside of hood & fender crevices Open the hood.  Spray degreaser along the insides of the fenders and clean the areas with a brush.  Use LTD or degreaser to clean along the underside edges of the hood.  Rinse everything with water.

Vacuum hood insulation Remove dirt from the hood insulation by giving it a thorough vacuuming.

Dress engine plastics, rubber & hoses After your engine bay has been cleaned and degreased by hand, you need to protect it, and give the plastics & rubbers the oils they need as to not dry out.  Dressing will be sprayed liberally throughout the engine bay to customers liking.
Shiny / Matte Sheen / Matte / OEM

Clean hood weather seals We will clean the weather stripping located under the hood.  this will remove any dirt / oil / grease from the rubber, and prepare it for our weather seal protection.

Protect hood weather seals Once the seals have been cleaned, they will be treated with a dressing that will prevent any cracking.
